PNP

PNP which Stands for Province Nominee Program is for applicant who are interested in moving to Canada through specific province or territory of Canada. All the major province of Canada has their own eligibility criteria for PNP and some of them are also aligned with Express Entry as well. Candidates must possess the required skills, education and work experience as per the particular province they are applying for. These provinces have diverse population and economy so they have their own immigration rules and process. They have their own PNP. These provinces are:

  • Nova Scotia
  • Ontario

To be eligible for PNP a candidate must fulfill all the requirements as per the province. If your profile is not aligned with Express entry then a candidate can apply through PNP but they must fulfill all the eligibility criteria. Every province has their own set of rules like for some province a candidate must have a job offer from the employer under skilled trader or worker and in some province a family relative is the key factor. The PNP programs are:

Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP)

Alberta being the farming hub of Canada and it has vast oil reserves; hence offers PNP programs under which candidate must have a job offer or LMIA. The other PNP eligibility criteria are; education qualification, Language proficiency, age work experience,

Under ANIP there are three major categories:

  • Alberta Opportunity Stream
  • Alberta Express Entry
  • Alberta Self-employment Farmers

As per your eligibility a candidate can apply for AINP and can obtain Permanent residence for Canada.

British Columbia Province Nominee Program (BC PNP)

This program offers PNP for immigrants possessing skilled trade, entrepreneurs, immigrants who can invest and help grown the economy. There are various immigration path ways but they have mainly divided it in two parts:

  • British Columbia Skill Immigration
  • British Columbia Entrepreneur Immigration

Under British Columbia Skill Immigration there are several categories such as: British Columbia Skilled Workers, British Columbia healthcare professionals, British Columbia International Grads, British Columbia International Post Grads, (ELSS) British Columbia Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Workers.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

Newfoundland and Labrador Province Nominee Program (NL PNP)

Newfoundland and Labrador offer PNP program for post grads and skilled workers. NL PNP is a part of AIPP (Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program). An applicant’s skill level should fall under NOC O, A, or B. The programs through which one can apply are:

  • Express Entry Skilled Workers of NL PNP
